6 Spring Wedding Designs & Ideas

While it may not be the first season that comes to mind when planning your wedding, Springtime is a beautiful season to get married. The green grass and fresh bloomed flowers set the tone for a gorgeous wedding scene. Today we’re giving you our favourite Spring Wedding Ideas to incorporate into your dreamy wedding design.

Garden Inspired Florals

Lean into the season for your inspiration and incorporate florals into your wedding design. Think fresh, wild blooms for your table centerpieces, floral patterned bridesmaids dresses and custom stationery envelopes with a peek-a-boo printed liner to pull it all together. Stick to light neutrals for everything else to let the statement pieces take centre stage.

Seasonal Florals

Speaking of florals, it’s best to incorporate seasonal flowers into your bouquet and centerpieces. Not only will they enhance the beauty of the season, but they will be more budget friendly, allowing you to even add more blooms than you hoped!  Talk to your florist about using Magnolia Alexandrina, Tree Peony Callie’s Memory, Camellia, Everlasting Pea, Hellebore Christmas Rose, or Snake’s Head Fritillaria. Then let them take the lead and guide you to the best decision for your style and vision.

Colour of The Year

Pantone graced us with Illuminating Yellow as one of the pantone colours of the year. This colour represents joy and hope. Add various shades of yellow into your design through flaxen and canary floral arrangements, honey velvet linens or sunshine yellow tinted glasses. Whichever hues you choose, be sure to carry it through from the menus to the individual mini cakes. Pair it with a toned down neutral like oatmeal or linen for a clean and refreshing look.

Bishop Sleeved dress

This style is very 2021 and it’s perfect for the seasonal weather. Bishop sleeves have a whimsical and romantic look that perfectly complements a garden inspired Spring wedding. Dresses like the one below come with detachable sleeves, allowing you to switch up your look for the reception. Don a stylish cape or go bare as you dine into the evening.

Fresh Signature Cocktail

Serve guests a refreshing signature cocktail garnished with spring friendly herbs. Think Mint Juleps, Thyme infused Lemonade or a Honey Rose Margarita.

These are the perfect refreshments to welcome guests into the cocktail hour as you step away for some family photos for your wedding album.

Garden-esque Ceremony

Get inspired by wildflowers and have your florist create something right out of the secret garden. Have a gorgeous, wild floral piece on the ground serve as your ceremony decor. Go as big as minimal as you want with this, from fully adorned arches to small arrangements lining the space. Let your personality show in the design.

We’re already feeling inspired, just writing these ideas. There are so many ways you can bring the beauty of Spring into your wedding details. Tell us, which one resonates with you the most?
