But how exactly does one “design” a day as special as a wedding? How different is wedding design from wedding planning? And do you really need to hire a wedding designer?

When it comes to wedding flowers, there are so many things that play a part in your final design, colour palette and ultimately the price. We don’t want wedding flowers or conversations with florists to be intimidating or confusing, so we interviewed two amazing Calgary florists to get a better idea of what goes on behind the scenes…

We were inspired by a few things when conceptualizing this design. First, was the yearning to travel at a time when that was not possible (thanks, Covid). France has always held an air of mystique and romance that we wanted to capture right here in Calgary, Alberta.
