The holidays are over and we are well into January.  If you’re one of the lucky ladies who got engaged over Christmas, the most popular time to propose… then congratulations, girl! I bet you were oh so (im)patiently waiting for that ring!

And now comes the fun part! Planning the wedding, picking the venue, deciding on your colours, pouring over The Knot or Confetti for wedding dress ideas. It’s an endless to do list that’s both overwhelming and exciting. But one of the first things the bride to be starts thinking about is… who will be standing up there next to me? Holding my flowers, fluffing my dress and calming my nerves.

I love to give gifts (as you can see on my website), but moreover, I love to give thoughtful gifts. Each year, I find myself buying for more and more people. This can easily become overwhelming. So today, I’m breaking down gift buying and DIYing so you can get into the holiday spirit – stress free!

Let me start by saying I LOVE Halloween.  The whole month of October if I’m being honest.  Our household starts gearing up for the big night at least a month in advance. We tend to get a lot of kids at our house, so I spread out buying Halloween goodies to hand out so it doesn’t feel like one big money dump.  Because we have so many trick or treaters, it’s nice to have friends over for the evening to help hand out candy/dress up with us to celebrate.
